It’s that time again! a brand new year with a fresh set of goals and accomplishments yet to be achieved! Invest in yourself by taking the time to develop a solid workable plan with goals that are measurable and details of how you plan to hold yourself accountable and if applicable who will be helping you to stay accountable while you in turn serve to help them be accountable.
With the beginning of a new year comes the sense of a fresh new start. It is important to know that in order to begin something new we must first leave something behind. To have new actions we need new exposure and new thinking which lead to new ideas and new creativity. You have to be willing to try something new!
I look to Psalms 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me”for inspiration and as a reminder that recognition of a need for change or renewal when necessary is vital to a fulfilling and abundant life and it is always ok to ask my Heavenly Father for help in preparing my heart and spirit for a new beginning. Jesus speaks also of the importance of putting new wine into new bottles (Luke 5:38, Mark 2:22) This lets me know that I have a part in preparing myself for the “New” in my future. I have to let go of some old thinking, words and actions in order to create room to try something new.
