Three reassurances that we have as followers of Jesus Christ

He loves you

Regardless of when we get off track in our thoughts or actions, our Father loves us through it all! Even at what we may consider our lowest point, he still has out stretched arms, long-suffering and patience for us as his children. You are valuable to him and it is his desire for you to be saved.

John 3:16 KJV

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Luke 12:7 KJV

He knows you

Our Father knows us; both the things we are proud of and the things that we are not so proud of, our strengths and weaknesses, our desires and hopes, our joys and triumphs as well as our hurt and pain. There is no need for pretense, with him it's ok to not always be ok. He knows exactly who we are because he created us and it is his desire that we magnify all of the good things that he placed in us through our glorifying him and that he may fill and heal all of the areas where we are lacking, weak or hurting.

Psalms 139:1KJV

Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.

Jeremiah 1:5 KJV

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

He will never leave you

The Lord has promised that he will never leave us. For those times that our thoughts and/or actions may cause us to leave him, we can repent and because of the sacrifice of Jesus be reconnected with our Father in heaven.

Hebrews 13:5 KJV

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Romans 2:4 KJV

Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Romans 5:10 KJV

For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
